Ron B.

Ron came to the area with his wife and sons from Buffalo, having retired from 35 years of work in the corrections/criminal justice system. Initially, Ron was hired as an employee. He gradually desired a more flexible lifestyle but wanted to continue at the Thrift Shoppe—so he decided to volunteer!

He shared that he really enjoys the camaraderie and fun he has with the other cashiers and customers, as well as the positive environment. He said, “You can just feel it.” Ron talked about his family’s faith and said that being part of a business that supports and gives back—not only here in the community but all over the world—is important to them.
